DJ Spen (USA)

On Friday, October 2, 2026, DJ Spen—an American DJ, music producer, remixer, and owner of Quantize Recordings—will perform in Košice.

He is one of the global icons of Soulful House. Since the 1990s, he has collaborated with leading artists around the world. He co-wrote the Milli Vanilli song Girl You Know It’s True (1988), which became a worldwide hit. He also remixed the global soulful house track by Ron Hall and The MuthaFunkaz – The Way You Love Me. He was part of the production team The Basement Boys and collaborated with Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Crystal Waters, Ultra Nate, and many others. Quantize Recordings releases and produces tracks in the soulful house, Afro house, disco, and funky genres. He is a resident and ambassador of the dance culture at Defected and Glitterbox.

Local names will also be spinning their sets—Robo Matejka and Charlie Brown, both residents of Radio SiTy and the Glitterball, Discotown, and Disco Boat parties. Also performing will be DJ Carlos, resident DJ at Jazz Club Košice, and Rhythmorocket Percussion, resident performers at Ibiza.
