🇬🇧 Belgian phenomenon whose explosive hit “227kg” will have Roxy rocking to the max. A track that has become a cult classic of the contemporary club scene—with millions of streams and an unmistakable cowbell sound that has become his musical signature.
Behind the name Pegassi is Antwerp-based producer Sam Huybrecht, whose sound is an explosive blend of rave energy and the hip-hop roots from which he grew up. The result is music that defies categorization—and that’s exactly why the entire scene is talking about him today.
His breakthrough came in 2023 with the hit “Yoyoyo,” which instantly conquered dance floors and streaming charts alike. Other acclaimed tracks followed, such as “Spectral Bells”—and the legend of the “bells” was born. (By the way—they came about completely by accident. Sometimes all it takes is the right mistake at the right moment.)
But Pegassi isn’t just a producer and DJ—he also runs his own label and the Sweet Nothing event series, where he gives a platform to a new generation of talent and builds a community around the future of club music.
And even though his star is rising fast, he keeps his feet on the ground—he spends his time off the road with his family, friends, and his cats. Maybe that’s exactly why his music sounds so authentic.
Don’t miss out on the energy that people will still be talking about long after you leave Roxy.
