The legendary Deep Forest project is heading to Prague for the very first time, bringing its unique blend of ethnic melodies, electronic music, and jazz to the iconic Cafe v Lese venue.

The story of Deep Forest began in the early 1990s in northern France with a vision to fuse traditional music from around the world with a modern sound. Their debut album featured the hit “Sweet Lullaby” and catapulted them onto the world stage—they went on to sell over 10 million albums.

The band was nominated for a Grammy, and the album “Boheme” actually won this prestigious award in the Best World Music Album category. Collaborations with icons such as Peter Gabriel and Herbie Hancock only confirm their exceptional influence.

Today, founder Eric Mouquet continues to create under the name Deep Forest, delivering live performances that take you from dance-oriented electronica to a hypnotic ambient atmosphere—always with Deep Forest’s unmistakable signature.
