hey, nothing is the emo-folk duo of Tyler Mabry and Harlow Phillips from Atlanta. Their music combines layered vocal harmonies with personal lyrics that explore themes such as addiction, family relationships, trauma, and growing up. The band draws inspiration in part from Stephen Chbosky’s coming-of-age novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower.Despite their young age, hey, nothing has quickly built a dedicated audience. In 2025, they performed at festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Austin City Limits, and All Things Go. They also appeared at Live at Leeds in the City, Pitchfork London, and Pitchfork Paris, and toured as a support act for Cage the Elephant.On stage, hey, nothing is known for story-driven performances that balance vulnerable songwriting with moments of lightness and humour. This approach has helped the duo cultivate a growing fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic.
